Wedding photography entered my life quietly — not as something I planned, but as something I felt drawn toward.
What began as a way to observe the world more closely and artfully, became a way of holding onto it. A way of noticing the small, meaningful moments that often pass unnoticed — the in-between spaces where real emotion lives.
Into The Solace Photography was born from that instinct: to slow down, to look carefully, and to preserve moments with honesty and care. Helping you find your place of solace - wherever that may be.
Based in Blyth which is part of North Huron Ontario, I photograph weddings, engagements, and lifestyle sessions throughout Ontario.
I am the type of human that takes pride in helping my couples out of their shell. Drawn to laughter, genuine emotion, storytelling, and not taking life too seriously - I connect with my clients by first becoming their friend and helping them to feel comfortable.
On a deeper level and outside of the wedding photography industry, I am a mom to the best little boy & a dog mom to three crazy pups. A heavy mental/rock enthusiast who spends most of her time catching concerts in Toronto. An avid camper & cottager - spending summers on the lake right here at home on Lake Huron! I'm a little bit of a gamer nerd which has always helped power the conversation with my grooms. I also work in the healthcare sector during off season.
I like to consider my style as a little alternative; catering to ALL couples, no matter their story. I'm energetic, "out there" and always down to party.

Dani is an INCREDIBLE photographer! Both my now husband and I are not photogenic at all, and Dani made us both just feel so comfortable and natural during both the engagement session and our wedding! She is so accommodating, kind and her personality is amazing! Not to mention, her pictures are absolutely stunning!! Definitely going to keep using her for future events, and I would highly recommend you do too!
